A prime example of the lighter side of cowpunk. People describe it as Johnny Cash backed by the Clash. They're not to be taken seriously but it's still a lot of fun (Check them out in old Austin city Limits clips. People are jumping around and really enjoying themselves.)
Look for a young Alejandro Escovedo on guitar. Hey, it can't be that bad, I mean Robert Christgau gave it a A-.
