Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. Although it’s never made me jump up and down with excitement, the album has an uncanny ability to express that slightly below par melancholy sadness.
So 38 years later it still gets a spin when we’ve had a couple of days drizzle and the mood is right. Or more accurately, slightly wrong.
My favorite songs : Cut me down....Grace....James....Lost weekend....Rich
Good second album but not up to the standard of Rattlesnakes. All good tracks apart from James (which is alright) - when I consider the quality of the B-sides I can't believe this made an album! Rich and Pretty Gone should have been released as singles ahead of Cut Me Down...
