Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. This was a disappointing attempt at making a commercial album. It had a lot of guest spots which worked for Santana on the same label earlier that year but not for Prince.
Maybe the nadir of his career (Undisputed may be his worst song ever), but there are a few solid moments that prevent it from being a total waste.

Just not great, a valiant attempt to bring himself back onto the top of the charts, but it didn't work out so well.
