Love this album. This is my image of this band; and "Cobra"-- the distinctive sound of Cippolina with his banjo picks...
This has the hit track "Fresh Air", which is the standout song on the album. Might have helped to have it on the A-side to set the tone. Not their strongest release, but an interesting sonic experience nonetheless!

Despite what many others would think, i think this album is insane. Great vocals, melodies, playing and Quicksilver’s signature production all shine through on this album
This album is a significant departure from QMS' more jam-oriented early work (on account of founder Dino Valenti returning to the band following his stint in prison). Valenti's vocals are pretty effective, provided you can tolerate his hippy histrionics. The trouble is that the backing band isn't all that animated here - the more introspective numbers, like both iterations of the title track and 'Gone Again,' work alright, but 'Cobra', 'The Hat' and 'Freeway Flyer' lag somewhat. 'Fresh Air' is QMS' highest charting hit, and it's amusing enough.
