I don't understand what I often see as derision of Dave Brubeck's music. He was an excellent composer and interpreter. His music is often complex, perhaps too technical, to convey the emotion that other Jazz artists were able to put forth, but very enjoyable to me. This hits collection holds together very well.
As said in the previous comment, a nice collection of songs from the late Dave Brubeck and his work with the Quartet and Paul Desmond. Favorite tracks are Take Five, I'm In A Dancing Mood, In Your Own Sweet Way, The Duke, and It's A Raggy Waltz.
