THis album is over the hill. Experimental and bizarre.
A concept album placed firmly on the weirder side of the equation. I can appreciate what’s going on here, the musicianship etc. but it feels so scattergun on occasions that I can’t get into the flow of the album. Groundbreaking certainly. Do I play it that often? Not really.
It's a shame Vanilla Fudge is a pretty much forgotten group. Psychedelic finesse played by some great musicians. If you like this genre and haven't checked this out, Do. You won't be disappointed.
