A singer-songwriter sings songs of a singer-songwriter, what can you expect, pretty pleasant and solid work.

This album rules! I love Newman as a songwriter, but his voice is definitely an acquired taste, so to be able to experience his ample talents with an absolute powerhouse vocalist like Nilsson taking over the singing is an absolute delight. Some of the songs here have their definitive versions on this record. Awesome and underrated.

Jeez, what a surprise. This is like magic. Has anyone ever sung any better than Harry Nilsson?
Harry Nilsson has one of the greatest pop voices of all time. A wonderful record with great arrangements and musicianship.
Sharp writing and traditional piano from Newman provides the perfect stage for Nilsson to demonstrate his vocal virtuosity.
