if the name of a band is a sentence, you already know 2 things:
1) it's probably emo or metalcore
2) it probably sucks
now, if that band name is actually a COMPOUND SENTENCE????? I suppose you can multiply those chances exponentially.
if that band name contains the words "die" and "beautiful," you can bet your hairy balls that it's a sucky emo record, even against a single dollar.
no, I haven't listened to this, life is too short to be taking high risk gambles like that - why take a 0.000000001% chance of finding a record that doesn't completely suck at the cost of 0.0001% of your life? see, it's just not worth it.

Perfect indie rock, never loses pace for a second and every moment of it completely surrounds you. There's definitly a post-rock vibe here as well, hints of instrumental experimentation make this album feel very entire and rewarding.

The beginning reminds me a lot of American Football, which really drew me in. The vocals could be described as "whiny" but for the feel of the album they really work. As the album progresses, though, this drifts increasingly into a typical Midwest emo sound, which I'm not a huge fan of. Not a bad album but it doesn't quite do it for me, although if you're a fan of Midwest emo you should definitely check this out.

Interesting record. Emo meets post-rock would have to be the way I describe it. It's not a thrilling record- but definitely an interesting one. Some tracks were excelent, like "Gig Life", "Heartbeat In the Brain", and "Getting Sodas", but others I found a bit boring

It draws heavily from older indie rock styles, particularly early Modest Mouse on tracks like Heartbeat in the Brain and Built to Spill at other times. Still, it comes off feeling fresh enough with interesting song structures, varied instrumentation and a post-rock edge.
