Completely unique band - if you said to me a band put instrumentals over old public service announcements I'd say it'd be rubbish. But these guys make it work. This is my favourite album of theirs. My favourites are Night Mail, Lit Up, Everest and Late Night Final. The title track is a remix of all of the other tracks which is quite cool. No filler tracks here - it's very easy to listen to. A must-listen as the style is so unique.

These guys create instrumentals by combining live performance with samples from old PSAs, propaganda films, and other archival footage. This album includes footage on color tv, the first Everest expedition, and fashion ("Out of the past and into your future comes this news, and the news is pleats!"). I prefer their second album, which focuses on a single theme (the Space Race), but this is still an enjoyable collection.
