É uma bela merda que pessoas nesse site, e não só nesse site na verdade, em todo o meio intelectualzinho sobre música, tende a ignorar completamente Racionais.
No máximo se fala que eles são bons, que eles foram importantes, que eles foram pioneiros no rap.
Mas nunca parecem querer compara-los com quaisquer que sejam outros compositores. Parece que muitas pessoas pensam que letras sobre morte, drogas, injustiça, a periferia, a realidade bruta que a maioria dos brasileiros vive, não devem ser comparadas as de Chico Buarque, Tom Jobim.
É como se o rap fosse uma coisa a parte.
Enquanto isso nós temos albuns como esse. Que respiram poesia. Intricadamente bem feitos, bem pensados, cheio de emoção crua.
Um álbum tão forte que te deixa amortecido.
E pra grande parte dos brasileiros, é só a vida normal.
