Wainwright delivers another wonderful album of neo-classic pop. He closes out this collection with a moving re-imagining of The Beatles "Across The Universe" supported by John Lennon's son, Sean, on acoustic guitar. No sophomore slump is evident here.
Rufus wainwright's second album is another stunning record from a giant talent. Poses, has a more alternative feel to it than his self titled debut, and is no worse for that. Cigarettes and chocolate milk, opens the album, but the version of the song that ends the CD is far superior than this one. Greek song, is brilliant, as is the title track. Other standouts are, the consort, rebel Prince, and, one man guy, a superb cover of a song written by his father, Loudon, it's excellent. All in all, another amazing record from Wainwright.

I agree
Wainwright is very underrated... he has a beautiful voice, he writes incredible music, and he's slowly becoming one of my favorites.
