Warm, open-hearted, and playful...I don't know if Rahsaan was like that, but he must have been; his music is. It's imaginative and care-free, not avant-garde or cutting edge. Feel-good music from a guy who can pull that off; it's a shame so many people can't get into it, judging by the ratings, but so it goes.
