"There aren't many artists that can keep such a high level of level of inspiration as Lucinda Williams. Now into her fourth decade as a recording artist, Williams says she finds inspiration and comfort in NOT getting comfortable. She describes this record as Car Wheels on a Gravel Road part 2, exc..."  [+]  Reply

"This is one of the best albums Fishmans ever made, I'd put it just behind 98.12.28 Otokotachi No Wakare as my favourite album by them. The last couple of tracks especially do it for me and Subarashite Nice Choice is just such a beautiful a groovy song. One of my all time favourites."  Reply

"Best EP ever. Polyethylene, Pearly, and Palo Alto are some of Radiohead's best songs. Thom's voice really shines in this album, and Johnny absolutely shreds. Shouldn't be a surprise that the greatest album of all time also has the greatest B-Sides."  Reply

"Audiophiles, this is one album where if you can score the vinyl, do so. For some reason, the British remaster is rather high end/tinny. Having said that, this album represents an underappreciated band finding a balance between their earlier rough-hewn sound and later polished production. There is..."  [+]  Reply

"The first time I saw Uncle Tupelo play live, it was as the opening act for Michelle Shocked's Arkansas Traveler tour. They were the first of four artists to play--before Taj Majal, a much-diminished incarnation of The Band, and Michele Shocked herself. I wished Uncle Tupelo could have played for ..."  [+]  Reply

"As straight ahead folk as they ever got. Absolutely lovely stuff. Sit down with a nice malt when everyone is in bed and chuck this on. Anyone into sny sort of folk needs to hear it."  Reply
