A low-key masterpiece recorded in London, when Gil and his friend Caetano Veloso were exiled by the military dictatorship, after spending weeks in prison just for being artists (they weren't political activists).

Mostly acoustic, with lyrics in English and a marvelous cover of Steve Winwood's "Can't Find My Way Home" (my favourite recording of this song). Another great track is Jorge Mautner's "The Three Mushrooms".

This is a record that really should be better known.
