This is parts Beach Boys and Animal Collective, but having listened to the other two, this is quite underwhelming. The melodies are nice, but the beats are drivel. This album probably sounds better without the drum machine really. Aside from the melodies, there's just not much depth here. Having said that, there's potential here. Maybe they'll get it together on their next LP.
