George Michael proved to be a terrific singer and songwriter on this. I also liked his production, particularly on "Freedom" and the smooth jazz of "Cowboys and Angels".

Strong follow up to huge solo debut with Freedom ‘90 another big hit however the rest of the album is a conscious effort to be a more serious artist and succeeds with Praying For Time and Heal the Pain as standouts.
Favorite Tracks:Cowboys And Angels
A more mature album than, Faith, featuring some fine songs such as, Praying for time. I don't know if the 2017 re-release is supposed to be remastered but it doesn't sound like it to me. What does anybody else think? Still, good album.

Quite underrated. Really mature and socially aware, coupled with Michael's incredible voice it makes for a pretty good record.

A great album full of adult themes and social commentary - Praying For Time, Mothers Pride and a They Won't Go When I Go being highlights but the love songs are still where he pours out his anguish - Cowboys & Angels, Heal The Pain, Waiting for The Day it also contains two great "dance " tracks Soul Free & Freedom '90. An all round great album that is just as relevant today as it was when it was released.
The man can write a great pop song and boy can he sing. A great record!

Average pop/rock album. Best 10 songs average is 77,0/100 and the album can get average 75/100. I've never been very fan of George Micheal. This album contains only two good songs: "Freedom" 85/100 and opener "Praying for time" 80/100. All other average 70-75/100.

His "grown up" album. This has some of his best songs; "Praying for Time", "Freedom", "Waiting for that Day". All quality work and underrated.
