Although there is metal (death metal or pop metal) sprinkled throughout, and some songs are definitely more metal than others, it's still mostly anime/jpop. The gimmick works, sometimes. Other times, not as much. The first 6 tracks are generally better than the back half. "Akumu No Rinbukyoku" (track 11 - Rondo of Nightmare) is pretty good though. I'm generally neutral about this type of music (it's fine, but not something I want to listen to a lot), but the metal flavor sets it apart from the rest of its anime genre (although kawaii metal seems to be its own thing now). Japanese Pop Metal drivel for the tweens.
Solid from start to finish. Lots of fun.
Really enjoyed this, got it before I caught them at Reading festival and it was definitely a lot of fun. Feels more cohesive than their second album.

Pure fun. Some moments are the definition of addictive pop metal (?) music. Other songs are a bit weaker though.
