I have decidedly mixed feelings about this chart.
On the positive side, there are some culturally important bands who are very rarely seen on charts here — most importantly Ministry but also perhaps Judas Priest and Pantera. The Meatmen are also a pleasant surprise and I say this as someone who is anything but a fan of metal and hardcore. Thomas Dolby and D.O.A. are also minor wildcards here.
On the other hand, especially without notes it is hard for me to take seriously a lot of the music from after 1995 included here. I have always felt that even compared to earlier pop music it is overblown, tuneless and without redeeming qualities.
