Questo è il disco che mi ha fatto scoprire Paolo Nutini; mi ha intrigato da subito il fatto che uno scozzese di chiare origini italiane facesse del soul ma poi mi è anche piaciuta la sua musica. A distanza di tempo ci trovo lati positivi e negativi: i primi sono una voce adeguata ed un feeling genuino; tra i secondi una tendenza quasi al melodrammatico ed una pesantezza di fondo negli arrangiamenti.
