Trip hop suits these moody technicians perfectly. Other than that, the album opens with some synthpop, and on the third track they flaunt their house skills, on "Superhuman" a jazzy bass pattern forms the basis of a track that can only be described by "electronica"; it seems that they have abandoned their hardcore (not the genre) techno roots. But they were always more than just techno.
The overly evangelical themes are back as if they never left, though.
