Second solo album from The Verve's frontman, "Human Condition" sounds like a second album. There are the usual explorations of spirituality found in Ashcroft's work, most notably on "God In The Numbers" and "Lord I've Been Trying". Elsewhere Ashcroft tries to make sense of his existece and gets help in his search by Beach Boy Brian Wilson who provides harmony vocals on "Nature Is The Law".
