My guilty pleasure, never fancied any of their albums so their best of will do me, and this has the Housemartins and the Beautiful South so no need for 2 albums. In their heyday they were one of the best singles bands around, Paul Heaton was without doubt one of the sharpest pop songwriters with both funny and heartfelt lyrics on top of irritatingly catchy tunes. Even if this isn't your sort of music (which this usually isn't mine) you can't listen to Perfect 10, Old Red Eyes Is Back or Good as Gold without admitting that they are brilliant pop songs.
