This album left me speechless. It's a rare thing to be left so stunned by a band I've never even heard of. Every single track is unique and sublime, but the 10-minute title track is truly the centerpiece. I'm so glad I stumbled onto Wipers--will definitely be checking out more of their stuff and recommending them to anyone who will listen. It is unfathomable that this was recorded in 1981. The influence of this music spans decades. Jaw-dropping
Amazing guitar sound and passionate vocals. The two long and mostly instrumental songs are the best part and while the rest of the songs are great too, Youth of America and When its Over overshine them.

I really wasn't expecting this after listening to Is This Real? obsessively for about 4 months. Everything about this album is a dramatic shift. The production, as murky as it is, is absolutely great and extending their songs by twice or even five times in length really works for them, not everyone can just do that.
Just discovered this lost gem. Cheap to buy on vinyl from the original band!!

Great album. Glad I found it. Made it to my 80's chart on first listen. Guitar work is amazing here, probably the major highlight. No Fair & Youth Of America are my top picks (but overall, 6 great songs)
