My chart is not here to fulfill snobs requirements. I don't venerate your sacred cows. I counterbalance the negative hypes. I laugh at the imperative of "variety" (where are the hardcore punk, tango, black metal, cumbia or world genres in your charts?). I choose feelings over rationalization, galvanic reaction over snob conformity and authenticity over posing. And I will always embrace punk rock, such an underrated genre on this site. This is not the greatest albums of all time chart but my personal all time favourites list.

Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).

Wow, muy buen chart! Me gusta ver el reconocimiento de grupos argentinos en tu chart. No conozco mucho de musica argentina, pero he visto aquí Canción Animal, una maravilla, y Artaud, el mejor album argentino ya hecho según Rolling Stone y un hermoso trabajo de Spinetta . No puedo esperar para oir los otros grupos argentinos que compartiste.

One Of The Best Lists That i ever saw!
Love The Diversity (It is Hard to find "Loveless" and "Ignition" on the same chart) And we have a lot of album in commons like "Goo" or "Origin of Symmetry" And i bet that they are one of our favorites. Anyway Amazing List

Well, you certainly know what you like. Lots of great albums here, even if the genre doesn't change much. Love seeing "Night Falls Over Kortedala" so high.

Great list. I love that you're mainly into 90s alt-rock/grunge, but are also totally open to other genres!
