Great sense of diversity for a hardcore punk record which does not really say much for a style infamous for its minimalism, but the point is this is not one of those hardcore records where it feels its all a variation of the same song (like in the case of Damaged and Minor Threat, no matter how much I like those records). Kids of the Black is one of the masterpieces that transcends the limitations of the genres alongside Holiday in Cambodia by the Dead Kennedys.

Great hardcore punk album which is criminally underrated on this site. The sound has an edge but it’s not too heavy. Not a huge fan of first track but it gets progressively better reaching a peak with Kids From The Black Hole, No Way & Amoeba.
