This is one of my favourite albums. The dark undertones of the music and Marianne Faithful's voice are totally hypnotic. I'm really surprised how little positive response this album received as its one of Marianne's best in my view.
Marianne was probably his most mainstream record since 1968 ... but the atmosphere is totally different ... she started serving his producer Angelo Badalementi, who created the atmosphere Twin peaks, heavy and oppress ... here it is not joyous, but lighter and friendly ... something air
