Sex Packets ratings

Average Rating:

Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 72.5/100, a mean average of 70.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 72.5/100. The standard deviation for this album is 16.0.

“First of 3 vinyl-buying days before I become a 40-something, starting with a trip to Guildford where I picked up: Original UK press. Even the shoddy Plain reissue goes for shedloads so to get this for a tenner was a bargain In the bargain bin for £2 Original UK press with a different cover to this…”

A sleazy funtime party funkfest that deftly avoids ending up as the throwaway novelty album it so easily could have been.

Humpty dance and doowutchalike are total classics but apart from those and a couple of other ok ones the album is a bit rubbish.

Look past the humorous lyrics. This is no novelty act - tremendous work here.

Some classic samples and good beats, but some of the tracks are way overindulgently long.
