This is the only compilation of Status Quo that I like to listen to. Not a single track on 12 Gold Bars Vol 2 is better than any track on this one. But still it's only a compilation and can not be compared to the original albums they recorded under this period.

This is one of my top 100 albums where I also comment on my history with music: check it out!
I still think that Status Quo is much underrated for just being a three chord band: these guys really rocked and being a guitar lover who has since then discovered a lot of other music, I still love songs like "Caroline", "Again and Again" and "Whatever you Want". I don't think even Black Sabbath could match the vast number of killer intro's Parfitt and Francis Rossi came up with. Just to say that this album is not only sentiment but still an absolute favorite.
this is just fun fun fun fun !!!
of course you're better of with the albums , but this is a great starter, it doesn't include the early work from the sixties
