An album full of lush, dreamy, chilled electronica complemented with Gwenno's lovely vocals, "Y Dydd Olaf" ("The Last Day") is an all-too-rare great Welsh-language record. What's interesting is the juxtaposition between how relaxing it sounds and the powerful lyrics (which i had to google translate) - Gwenno manages to subtly tackle themes such as: the future of technology, patriarchal society and the inevitability of death.
All in all, it's an album not to be missed.
