Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album has a Bayesian average rating of 71.9/100, a mean average of 69.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 71.8/100. The standard deviation for this album is 17.1.

Posiblemente, el mejor disco de Fogerty en solitario y el único comparable a sus clásicos con Creedence.

This album has a split personality. Some high points with Centerfield and Old Man but not much left to savor after that. Zanz Kant Danz trips the interesting meter but after those 3 it's slim pickins'.

+I was really excited when this album came out. And it has some real high-points: Centerfield, Old Man Down the Road, Rock And Roll Girls... I just don't find it compelling.

Fogerty recreates the old sound... I guess it's familiar, but nothing creative or new.

If you are CCR dan you will enjoy this, this is the big comeback of John Foggerty after years and years of legal problems with his record label of CCR

Certainly not a return to CCR form but a good comeback for sure.
