"I can't go for that" was their breakthru hit reaching No.8 in the UK and one of only two top 10 hits, "Maneater"(06) being the other.. This album being their biggest also reaching No.8. The first three songs are great and score 7.5-9 but the remaining tracks are 5-6.5. De La Soul also sampled I can't go for that on their top 20 hit Say No Go.

Philly soul went a bit hip-hop on "i can't go for that (no can do)" (often sampled by rap artists), but the mostly continue the poppier sound fostered on "voices".
