Despite the cheesy lyrics, I find this album really musically interesting, which no coincidence, since Jeff Beck and Elton John played on it. But the main strenght of this album is Jon Bon Jovi's incredible singing, he truly peaked as a vocalist here.
This is a terrible record from a mediocre band. Overproduced, cheesy and a waste of time. Jon Bon Jovi plays the same riffs over and over again. Boring!

Good album. Best 10 songs average is 85,5/100 and the album can get good 85/100. Best song is "Blazy of glory" 95/100, followed by "Miracle" 90/100 and next "Santa Fe" and "Dyin' ain't much of a livin'" both 85/100. All other songs only just good 80/100, except "You really got me now" is average 70/100 only.

I'm torn on thi album. On one hand, it's schlocky. Lyrics are awkward, music is overblown. On the other hand, it's so chessy it's charming. This is the Sharknado of 80s rock.
