Great pop record from the 2000s

Fairly unique sound that mixes genres. It's indie pop but quite experimental with lots of lo-fi and folk, and even some Brian Eno droning strumming and some that touches on shoegaze.
Really fun pop album.
A perfect pop record with a stunning single.

Very pleasant. A sweet sound. Nothing earth-shaking, but still finds it's way into my rotation.

If your girl's into IDM-like albums, play this album to augment your love. They've made some electronic-pop kinda like Postal Service, except heartwarming and embracing, not disheveled and despondent like "Give Up". You can feel the love permeate throughout, even on a fun "give up on love"-sounding "Let's Call It Off". Don't let the song fool you, he can't let go. (And don't miss my RIYL, it's NUTS.) Warm and inviting electronica. Even if you hate that term, you'll be smitten with "Writer's Block".
This is an underrated album on this site. Writer's Block is by far the best album from Peter Bjorn & John. The sounds on this album are amazing, so eclectic but in a subtle way. It takes some detailed listening in order to hear all of the subtle instrumentation and layering going down on this album. Great album from an okay band. Don't doubt this album because it's poppy. This is one of Pop's finest albums of the 2000s. Highly underrated. I highly recommend this album. Best tracks: Young Folks, Amsterdam, The Chills, and Up Against the Wall. But every track is good!

Young Folks is a phenomenal track. Really one of the best of the decade. A nice album, albeit it slightly bland.
