Many people seem to forget about this album. At the first listen, this album seems tediously long and overdone, with five instrumentals (counting Fish) and long songs with seemingly random transitions and bridges. However, after many listens, this album slowly turns into an instantly recognizable masterpiece that is never boring or tedious in the least. Had this album's entirety received more radio time, I beleive that this album would easily rank among the Beatles' and Bob Dylan's masterpieces among the majority of music critics.

This entire album is perfect. There isn't a single thing that I would change in it. It's the best emotional roller coaster I've ever been. I feel like as soon as the album is over I already want to listen to it again. Close to the edge is also amazing and it was really hard to pick my favorite, but I think this one probably won because of South Side of the Sky.

Really great album. A classic, just lacks some cohesion to make it as good as Close to the Edge. The bookends on Fragile are two of the greatest songs in prog rock history.

Very pretty, I really dig the "melodic progressive" they, along with Supertramp, make. Complex, but still pretty. Gotta love We Have Heaven, puts a smile on my face everytime.
A good album featuring four major contributions and some odd 'solo' tracks. Roundabout, and, heart of the sunrise, are excellent, two of Yes' greatest moments. Lond distance runaround, and, mood for a day, are also fine. As for the other tracks, they're okay as little interludes, but I still can't quite believe that, the fish, is totally recorded on a bass guitar, I mean Chris Squire wrote it so I assume it must be, but I just can't grasp it. Anyway, fragile, is a good record, probably Yes' second best.
