Fun and musically pretty good band. Never been the fan of most of the lyrical themes and the whole 80s glam image, but apart from that they're really better than ratings here suggest. These are all simple pop rock songs, yes, but they have the charm. Albums tend to be somewhat inconsistent though. Richie Sambora is also one of my favourite 80s guitarists as far as pure guitar playing goes.

The discovery of Slippery When Wet as a young teenager made me realise that music was fun and not just a backing soundtrack to our lives. And for that I am grateful because it triggered a dormant passion for music that left Bon Jovi far far away in my distant past. Thank fuck for that!

He's a passionate singer and you can tell the band has fun, but the songs are corny and all sound the same.

Amazing band!
My favourite albums are Keep The Faith and These Days.
this band is my all-time favorite rock band. they have large repertoire, great hits, super group members. i think they are number one as a hard rock band 1986-1992 era.
Really good band & didn't really on make up and lipstick like a few other similar bands from USA of the era. Great guitarist and singer formed some legendary songs
I still love them. We took my oldest two children (12, 10) to a concert in Munich. It was the best one I ever went to. Now my kids run around the house singing Bon Jovi songs. My favorite song is "It's my life"

The best of the 80s hair metal. Knew how to craft pop-rock. Too bad they became syrupy in the 90s and beyond. Neutered is a good term, but they weren't that thunderous beforehand.
