Drift along with this moon stream if you're out for some dreamy night music. The 60s folk-rock influences from the debut album seem to have vanished almost entirely in favour of new wave elements and 80s synths, but frontman Jesper Lidang's intense and passionate voice is intact. With its gothic night visions, it could easily be labelled 2010s' sequel to Echo & the Bunnymen's "Ocean Rain"!

Unbelievably beautiful. As if these dreamy, spiritual sounds and voices were created by something not human - possibly something beyond!

Music for a rainy day/night. The vocals are sweet and melancholic, particularly the female vocals. Nothing too striking, they just follow the dubby groove and its hypnotic atmosphere. Much more modern pop music should be like this: slightly catchy, even danceable, yet background music!

Yet again gorgeous album by Grizzly Bear. Does not reach for the stars as much as its predecessor, but still overwhelming with orchestral beauty and nostalgia.

A new colourful look on things, Muse don't seem as overdramatic as usual. The musical experiments here are generally interesting rather than unsuccessful. I actually like the dubstep-flavoured "The 2nd Law"-suite a lot!

What's an honest wall compared to a dishonest wall? On a more relevant note, how gorgeously epic is this mystic, adventorous world-flavoured album by danish indie darling Ane Trolle? So much that you have every reason not to pass up this album! Especially check out "Two Faced", it's like a cute James Bond theme!

The Beach Boys back for the first time in 20 years with new material and almost 50 years after their debut album was released. Not much has changed, they still have beaches and summer in mind, but they've become significantly older. Great production and a nostalgic glimpse of their older days is apparently enough to make a fairly strong album, at least it's a pleasant surprise for Beach Boys fans.
