Mostly made this just to keep track of what I've listened to from this year. Should see some more entries over the next few weeks and as end of year lists start coming out. I promise I don't hate everything I've heard this year even though my comments make it seem that way.
Update 9/3/18: Updated everything over 70 to have accurate ratings. The rest is an inaccurate wasteland written by 2014 me.

It will be incredibly difficult to dethrone this as my album of the year. I'm hoping Kanye's or Kendrick's album will do it (because I have high expectations for those two, not because I don't want this to be my favorite), but it's unlikely. Gibbs's rapping and Madlib's beats are like yin and yang.

I waited until 2015 to listen to this so it seems like cheating to put it here, but I really enjoyed it. I almost gave up near the beginning but there's just too much variety to not like it. Much better (I think) than You're Nothing. [First added to this chart: 04/08/2015]
