constantly changing since i only get 50 entries (right now at least).
I don't hold this to be the absolute greatest's albums ever, I don't have enough to do that. Rather, my personal favorite albums of all time. I mostly listen to new music, although I am trying to expand to older music now.
I repeat artists if I like them a lot. it is what it is.

Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).

I'm not familiar with most of the stuff you have on this chart but it's cool how personal it is. And what I do know - Dawes, Whitney, Floyd, and My Morning Jacket among others - is all awesome.

Interesting chart. Original. Glad you like Pink Floyd. I haven't heard of half of these albums so I've got some checking out to do. Good work.

Good start, varied, looks good. I'm intrigued to see where this goes. Good call on Dawes, I've always felt they're an underrated band, and Lamb Of God is some solid stuff. There's a lot of metal people here so they'll be happy to toss some recs your way.
