I don't hold this to be the absolute greatest's albums ever, I don't have enough to do that. Rather, my personal favorite albums of all time. I mostly listen to new music, although I am trying to expand to older music now.

I repeat artists if I like them a lot. it is what it is.

There are three albums that I can listen to start to finish and absolutely love every single track, and this is #1. There is some special California vibe to this album that it so wonderful, I have yet to hear another album that is more enjoyable for me to listen to.
Taylor Goldsmith is an absolutely fantastic lyricist as well. Just give "A Little Bit of Everything" a listen and you'll see. [First added to this chart: 01/13/2015]

This is easily the most beautiful combination of ambient, experimental, modern classical and avant garde I have ever heard. In fact, it is the first time I have ever heard anything like it. The best albums are often the ones that you have trouble pin pointing what it sounds like or where it fits in, and that is how I feel about this album.

Andy Othling (aka Lowercase Noises) is my favorite ambient guitarist. This is my favorite album of his to date. Andy whites albums with stories in mind. This album was inspired by the life of the Lykov family(look it up). After he did a commentary of the album, he revealed how in depth and unique his music writing is. Wow. The message that Kendrick tells through this album is mind-baffling. Its like inception in an album. Beyond that, it is a great album musically. I believe in 5 years, Kendrick will be seen with much higher regard than Kanye ever was. This album is revolutionary. The more I listen to this album, the more I like it. I'm not familiar with most of the stuff you have on this chart but it's cool how personal it is. And what I do know - Dawes, Whitney, Floyd, and My Morning Jacket among others - is all awesome.

Good start, varied, looks good. I'm intrigued to see where this goes. Good call on Dawes, I've always felt they're an underrated band, and Lamb Of God is some solid stuff. There's a lot of metal people here so they'll be happy to toss some recs your way.
