"He aims it at the sailor, shoots him down dead on the floor, oh, you shouldn't do that, don't you know, you'll stain the carpet?"

So let's see, we've got a song about hallucinations while shooting meth, a song about a man sending himself in a package in the mail to get to his lover in a burst of sexual frustration only to have his head sliced open when the package is opened, a song about a failed lobotomy on a transsexual woman, a song about a female orgasm, a song about hallucinations of a dead lover, and a song about a man who casually kills another to test his new gun in the middle of a heroin-induced orgy with a transvestite drug dealer, a lesbian, and four other junkies. And keep in mind, I'm using the word "song" loosely for all of these; there's next to no songwriting, half the time they're all pretty much just playing random notes on their instruments then drenching it in distortion and feedback. It's beautiful, isn't it?

"The sun is up, the sky is blue, it's beautiful, and so are you."

My pick for the best Beatles album, and one of the most diverse albums ever. It has happy (Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da) and sad (Julia), heavy (Helter Skelter) and soft (Blackbird), conventional (Honey Pie) and experimental (Revolution 9), dark (Happiness Is A Warm Gun) and goofy (Why Don't We Do It In The Road), and a lot more. I actually really like Revolution 9; it may not be much of a song, but it's definitely got a great scary atmosphere.

Favourite Tracks: Blackbird, Happiness Is A Warm Gun, Dear Prudence, Helter Skelter, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Revolution 1
