I LOVE Joe Walsh. And if you're into 70s hard rock The James Gang's Ride Again should be required listening. But all the stuff he touched in the late 60s and early 70s including his solo albums were really good. so I was always puzzled why he would join seemingly rapid tepid The Eagles - the kings of soft rock and one of the many that generated that wand one of the principal to be blamed for the soft rock of the 70s. My hippie aunts would always be playing their first Greatest Hits album and I would play that album whenever my mother had friends over and wanted some good music. thought it was brilliant. But other than that I really didn't think about the Eagles all that much in my younger years.
A lot of people think this is album is composed of three singles and then a lot of filler. They're wrong.

Not One. Not two. But Three of the best anthems of all time for overcoming adversity. And they aren't even my favorite song on the album. Sth by a one hit wonder named Scooty that reminds me of Operation Ivy.

Wonderfully eclectic chart! I'm an Eno and Fripp fan, it was great to see Evening Star on your list. That one is my favorite collaboration of the two geniuses. Also wonderful to see that you included Desperado by The Eagles. That one is probably my favorite one by them. Great chart!
