Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. Great chart! A few I loved, and a few I couldn't stand (ugh that Code Orange record...not for me). 26 in common, including quite a few which are deeper cuts (Ulcerate was great, as was the Backxwash album). Probably my favorite 2020 chart I've seen so far, I'll have to dig through your year charts for other eras.

It’s in the queue, might get a chance to play it tomorrow. The difference is that I know a few of the older Roisin/Moloko songs, so I kind of know what to expect. Or not?
So I was reading the intro for your pick for Jessie Ware, and I think it might happen with Roisin Machine.
