Darkness and passion. This album is the definition of what Depeche Mode is. Its mixes the dark themes with their normal electronic sound but also gives it a direction towards rock. The album is filled with tragedy, honesty and overall realism. The bands coolest age and most interesting one. It expresses my darker side and is a listen I will go through to control myself and find a higher love.

Loneliness and being mistaken. Those are the themes of this album which I can relate to. Michael Jackson taught me many things in life and this was the album that made me find a better path whenever I was lost. Finally there was an album where I felt understood and could relate. Its honest, its truth and its a masterpiece.

Dreams and flying. This album always feels like a ride in a plain for me or a walking in a small texas looking town. Its simpel yet fills your imagination with fantasy. Every time I hear a tune from the guitar or the synth I feel like flying far above the sky. And every time I hear the bas or drums I see myself walking through fields. And the voice, it speaks for my soul.

The purple one has arrived. This album is filled with funk and with a touch of rock and soul. The album has a lot of atmosphere but still also a lot of direct messages. It feels like being thrown into a movie and with every song experiencing a new part of a story. And with a grand final closing song this is definitely one of the best.

Funky tunes, cool vibes and hard kicking drums. Michael Hutchence and the overall theme of this album is awesome. The very direct songs and cool rhythms make this album a statment from the island Australia. Its songs that get to you and make you feel apart of the band. INXS strikes over the scene and right into the audience.

As a danish person I normally don't listen to much of our national music funny enough. But this album is different, its very international and takes inspiration from Beatles and the grunge scene in seattle. Its my anthem as a danish person and one I always come back to.
This was the album that got me into grunge. The Album that made me listen to rock. I remember playing guitar hero 3 and hearing even flow for the first time. I was lost. I was fascinated and most of all impressed. The voice the, the energy and the riffs is everything.
