This is a really excellent album, I had been after a decent vinyl copy for years and was so glad to come across a near mint copy a few weeks ago. Bombay Calling is my favourite track, Deep Purple, I am so disappointed with you, I thought you had written Child in Time! [First added to this chart: 12/24/2023]

Am so pleased to have picked this up a a vinyl re-issue. Very possibly one of the best pschedelic albums in my collection. Excellent production quality and sound. Egyptian Tomb and House Without Windows make the album for me, but no weak tracks as far as I am concerned. [First added to this chart: 10/02/2022]

Excellent psychedelic album combining many different musical styles. Love the ethereal flute work on the album not to mention the unexpected sax. One of my favourite albums from my psychedelic collection. An album to immerse yourself in! [First added to this chart: 10/25/2020]

There is no way that 'The Final Cut' should sit above this album, or 'Pulse' for that matter as the latter is a compilation! This album doesn't get the credit it deserves, it is a very psychedelic offering and dishes up some real classics, 'The Nile Song' and 'Ibiza Bar' being two of them, not to mention the heaviest 'metal' track Floyd ever produced in 'Cirrus Minor'. 'Quicksilver' is the closest they came to early 'Tangerine Dream', a great mind expanding track! [First added to this chart: 04/03/2022]

Excellent psychedelic album. Can almost smell the incense and other concoctions on the air. Recording quality not the best but that kind of adds to the experience. Tough call between this and Crown of Creation. [First added to this chart: 01/27/2025]

Superb album. Down by the River has to be my favourite, that said the title track, Cowgirl in the Sand and Cinnamon Girl are excellent. Chilled out rock. [First added to this chart: 10/02/2022]

Excellent Tull album, Bouree is a personal favourite having seen Tull perform this live on two occasions. More of a folk vibe. Interesting sleeve design. [First added to this chart: 02/13/2022]

This album is a real pleasure to listen to. The title track is excellent as is the rest of the album. Love the strings, you can pick out the individual instruments so clearly, good production for 1969. [First added to this chart: 02/13/2022]

This album is a very different affair compared to 1967's 'Goodbye and Hello'. I prefer the former but don't dislike Happy Sad, the vocal Is delivered like an instrument, it climbs and falls with crescendos and decrescendos all underpinned by acoustic guitar, electric piano and xylophone. The ten minute long third track (title too long to type!) is my favourite with the double bass and electric guitar flourishes. The album is a mixture of folk and jazz with happy and sad undertones so the album does live up to its name. [First added to this chart: 08/14/2021]
