Am so pleased to have picked this up a a vinyl re-issue. Very possibly one of the best pschedelic albums in my collection. Excellent production quality and sound. Egyptian Tomb and House Without Windows make the album for me, but no weak tracks as far as I am concerned. [First added to this chart: 10/02/2022]

Excellent psychedelic album combining many different musical styles. Love the ethereal flute work on the album not to mention the unexpected sax. One of my favourite albums from my psychedelic collection. An album to immerse yourself in! [First added to this chart: 10/25/2020]

There is no way that 'The Final Cut' should sit above this album, or 'Pulse' for that matter as the latter is a compilation! This album doesn't get the credit it deserves, it is a very psychedelic offering and dishes up some real classics, 'The Nile Song' and 'Ibiza Bar' being two of them, not to mention the heaviest 'metal' track Floyd ever produced in 'Cirrus Minor'. 'Quicksilver' is the closest they came to early 'Tangerine Dream', a great mind expanding track! [First added to this chart: 04/03/2022]

Excellent Tull album, Bouree is a personal favourite having seen Tull perform this live on two occasions. More of a folk vibe. Interesting sleeve design. [First added to this chart: 02/13/2022]

This album is a real pleasure to listen to. The title track is excellent as is the rest of the album. Love the strings, you can pick out the individual instruments so clearly, good production for 1969. [First added to this chart: 02/13/2022]

Ok, granted that they cheated a bit with the first disc pulling Astronomy Domine in from Piper at the Gates of Dawn and Saucerful of Secrets and Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun from Saucerful. Careful With That Axe Eugene has a very Barrett era tinge to it and to be honest I was surprised to learn that this is the first album it appears on. And so to disc two, the one berated by most including Floyd themselves. Breaking it down into its component parts, Granchester Meadows is excellent, very Barrett and if he had written it then it would be deemed a masterpiece. Several Species of Small Furry Animals ... is absolute shite! Sysyphus is reminiscent of early Tangerine Dream and I am ok with this track, I understand why others wouldn't be. The Narrow Way is excellent and points the way to what David Gilmour would be capable of in the future. The Grand Vizier's Garden Party is again reminiscent of very early Tangerine Dream to start with, the main element being the kettle drums fed through an echo unit. When it gets further in, it sounds like the record is sticking, at this point it has sadly moved into the realm of utter shite also! Have another look at the Hibgnosis sleeve, which one should be in 'the chair'? Perhaps that was what was going through their heads? This quite a low score for me. The first LP saves it along with the Hipgnosis cover. [First added to this chart: 02/11/2021]

Hard to believe that the lead 'singer' and bass player for Motorhead started life here playing guitar and 'actually singing'! Going under the name of Steve Willis, the vicars son!!! put in a good performance with Sam Gopal prior to joining Hawkwind. This is actually quite an interesting psychedelic album, worth a shout.
