84.38* Always loved what I've heard from Nightwish. So been exploring and getting different bands and versions of symphonic metal over the last few years. Some have been good. Then get this. Instantly you can hear the difference. Nightwish fuck all over all other symphonic metal bands. They are the undisputed symphonic metal gods. 04/25 [First added to this chart: 12/16/2023]

80.00 The right mix of different styles and tempo's to give it enough variety to keep it solid from start to finish. Consistent. No weak tracks. One of the better Foo albums. 03/25 [First added to this chart: 01/20/2022]

79.16 Garage rock 'n roll with a clean feel. Very catchy rhythms. My initial thoughts were that it sounds like a blend of Eagles of Death Metal, The Hives, The Killers & D4. It was only at a later date I discovered that the band was formed by Jimmy Christmas, guitar/vocals of the D4 after they'd gone on permanent hiatus. One of the better albums to come out of NZ 11/24 [First added to this chart: 08/06/2024]

77.81* Interesting one this. I've had a change of heart. I used to think there was something lacking. I've listened to this many, many times trying to find what I must be missing. I've found there's nothing missing. The mind constantly evolves over time with music. Decent album. Sorry I doubted you. 06/25 [First added to this chart: 06/19/2021]

77.72 They are the kings of Rhythm and Groove. Not as good as their other albums but this is still fucking great. [First added to this chart: 06/19/2021]

76.00 I think this gets a slightly bad rap. It sounds like it should. The heavy riffs & rhythms of Metallica over the junkie (ex-junkie) poetry lyrics of Lou Reed. The tracks which go on the avant-garde jazz rock tangent are the ones that let the album down. But overall it's not a bad collaboration. The second CD of it (last 4 tracks) being the better by far. 76.00 Love me Opeth. This is where they started changing their style. With this they dropped the guttural vocals completely and moved from extreme metal to more prog heavy rock. More quieter numbers than usual. Still fucking great though. 01/25 [First added to this chart: 08/06/2024]

75.83* Her albums can quite vary from each other. Some are among my favorite, couple didn't do it for me at all. This one has a mellower flow regardless of subject matter, compared to a lot of her other albums. I couldn't help but think of many songs sounding like an Alt. Kate Bush. 05/25 [First added to this chart: 03/19/2025]

75.515* Guttural Extreme Symphonic Metal from Greece. They mix the symphonic, black metal and even verging on heavy prog in some places very well. A band that deserve to be better known within the Metal World 04/26 [First added to this chart: 09/23/2023]
