Not a bad year for music. Top 10 on this list being clear front runners. All others are hard to place in any definitive order. Hence those near the bottom are not bad at all, just where they sit in the rankings for the time being

76.363* This was my introduction to Arcade Fire. It's like an album of mostly transcendent celebratory songs. They're a very unique band. Not their best but still a damn fine album 01/26

Stock standard rock trying for a heavier edge. Not bad. Surprised me a bit as the other album I have from them does not impress. Why did I get this one then you ask? $2.00 from an Op Shop. Can't pass up a bargain. Glad I did. You know it's alright when you find subconsciously you're tapping your foot and nodding your head. 03/24
