Roger Waters is taking over. Rick Wright whose creativity and productivity is stalled due to problems on the home front is fired from the band. Written and produced with the intention of making it a movie and a very elaborate stage production from the start. This is an album that is bigger than life. The last bigger than life classic rock album before rock music officially looses its title as the dominating music genre. [First added to this chart: 07/19/2012]

This is one of the very good PH album with a good balance of slow melodic songs (e.g. My Favourite) and crazy harder numbers (The X songs) with only a small dose of experimental songs. This is a good introduction album if you are not familiar with PH. [First added to this chart: 08/15/2012]

Musicians often have to fight off their record company to get their vision. For once, I think I side with the record company. This album is part of a trio including Peter Gabriel's second album and Darryl Hall's Sacred songs. With Hall & Oates (H&O) at the peak of its popularity and setting records, the company felt that Darryl's participation would displease and scare off the H&O audience, no doubt it would have. It took years for Robert Fripp to get Sacred Songs released and Exposure reedited as he wanted it. Sacred Songs is an OK album that was too good to be shelved that is for sure. But Exposure, it was better in its original form. Replacing the Peter Hammill vocals on Disengage and Chicago with Darryl Hall, it just does not work! If you intend to get this album, make sure you find an original edition. Chicago is a masterpiece song with Peter Hammill, with Darryl, it unfortunately is much, MUCH, less interesting. Sorry Robert and Darryl, but I have to say it like it is. [First added to this chart: 07/19/2012]

Queen broke new grounds and attendance record by being one of the first big rock acts to tour South America stadiums. This album is an excellent chronicle of that era when Queen were at their peak form, just before keyboards/synthesizers and disco sounds were to be introduced to their repertoire. Foreigner really thought they had finally recorded the album that would break it big but it wasn't the case. There is nothing wrong with this album. It is a very decent rock album. It seems you just can't hurry love. [First added to this chart: 08/13/2012]

The band has fully matured with their previous album and is now in their peak form. This is likely their second best and most popular album. Includes the grand rock classic "I like to Rock". When it was released, the album cover was considered as awesome. [First added to this chart: 08/06/2012]

Some hits, some misses, some very good choices (Peacock, Hammill, Fripp, Bruford)
some weak Albums (stormwatch is the weakest Tull album I know: Elegy is the only good song on it. - I have to believe you, that they did even weaker albums. Just good I don`t know them)The Wall and Breakfast in America did a big commercial success, maybe my problem that I don`t like them.
