So many that could make it... not 100% happy with this myself just yet, but for a first stab I'm fairly happy with it. After about 30 the order is needing some love. And after about 80, probably another 40 albums that could replace those...

Love this chart. Haven't listened to all of it, but I think many of the new artists here that aren't in the NPR chart are essential: classical virtuosos (virtuosi?) like Martha Argerich or conductors like Mitsuko Uchida, though after breaking into classical I might be inclined to add a opera singers like Elisabeth Shwarzkopf. Also love the additions of Mary Lou Williams, Sharon Jones, Noname, Weyes Blood, Nubya Garcia, Natalia Lafourcade, and many others.
In particular, I think Enya is a MAJOR omission from the NPR list. They tried to go with artists who defined certain genres, and no one is as synonymous with new-age as Enya.
Great chart, I'll keep you posted when I sort my own!
