My Favorite Double Albums

Double Albums... used Wikipedia to help identify as I don't own all of these albums in their physical form. Also double albums released originally on vinyl sometimes were double, and then on CD were single... so not sure how to make the rules on this. (Compilation and live?)
Some albums have 70 minutes and like 18 songs, yet are single albums... anywhere, here's a more concerted start, but still needs work.

Cool top ten. Mellon Collie is a great double album. My fave double albums are Blonde on Blonde, The Wall and The White Album. Great to see the Grateful Dead.

I can understand your opinion. I think it's because I love the 10 songs that kick your ass and then the 10 songs that soothe your soul... really like that about that record, and to be honest, I'm a Foo Fighters fan, and by definition, that probably throws all bias out the window. It probably literally isn't greater than most albums listed here, but it is to me.

Some of my fav double lps though no doubt you've some of them already. I think the golden rule for a double lp is anything over 65 minutes, def was so in the vinyl era.
